Comments from Coach Tammy Vrzak
"Tonight we played hard and our serving was very on.  We need
to get on top right away and not dig a hole as it is too hard to
come back. In the 4th game the girls worked hard to regain a 13
point deficit but came up short.  They still did a super job of
playing together."

Comments from Coach Tammy Vrzak
"We're getting to the end of our season and the girls are
stepping up to where we need to be to enter Regionals.  We
need to keep up this pace with our offense and defense.  Allie
Njus and Johanna Blazek came out with great hits tonight and
Ashley Kurash did a great job filling in for Taylor Novotny who
went home sick this afternoon."

Trojans play well, but season ends at #3Tripoli

It's never easy going against the Tripoli Panthers in volleyball
and it wasn't easy for the Turkey Valley Trojans when they went
up against the Panthers in a regional quarter-finals game at
Tripoli as they fell 0-3.

However Coach Tammy Vrzak was very pleased the way her team
performed,
"We ended the season playing some of our best ball.
Coming up against a 3rd ranked team can take the wind out of
some peoples sails, but these girls came to play hard tonight.
They never gave up all the way till the final point. I'm proud that
these girls played so well as a "team" you have to consider
yourself lucky as a coach when you get that "gel" from your girls
and they look good together.  Our seniors were great role
models this year for our younger girls and that is a good legacy
to leave behind."

The Trojans ended the season 13-9.  Tripoli 33-5 advances to
take on Kee High a 3-1 winner over Central on Friday at 7 p.m.
